Shady Spring 40, Liberty 20
Glen Daniel – Shady Spring picked up its second win of the season Friday, toppling Liberty 40-20 in Glen Daniel.
Shayde Hedgecock rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown on six carries while Helmer fortified the Tigers’ ground effort with 111 yards and two touchdowns on 13 totes.
Cal Culicerto completed four passes for 134 and two touchdowns, connecting with Gage Spears for 115 yards.
Jaxson Workman led Liberty with 214 yards passing in the loss, adding 86 yards and another score with his legs.
