Play Sheet Sports has launched a Player of the Week award!
Each week, players who are a part of winning teams have the opportunity to be nominated from schools in Nicholas, Fayette, Greenbrier, Raleigh, Monroe, Summers, Wyoming, Mercer and McDowell counties.
Each week Play Sheet publisher Tyler Jackson and a special guest picker will make their selections for the Player of the Week winner. The poll will then be used as a tiebreaker should the two disagree.
The overall poll winner will still be acknowledged each week for their community’s efforts in pushing their cause.
The nomination process can occur in two ways – coaches of teams that won a game during the week can email a nomination by 10 a.m. on Sunday morning with supporting statistics to [email protected]. If a coach has not nominated a player, Play Sheet Sports will select one from each team that submitted a box score, has their GameChanger stats accessible or was covered in some capacity during the week.
It is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to have your GC stats accessible to the public to make this process easier.
This week’s poll will close Friday, April 4 at 11:59 p.m.
