New Richmond – Wyoming East notched 12 hits and exploded for six runs in the sixth inning, securing a 13-10 win over Beckley Thursday in New Richmond.
Carli Raye led East with four hits and four RBI while Mak Hatfield collected a pair of hits. Alivia Monroe homered, driving in a pair of runs.
Hadley Reott and Kacie Fraley led Beckley with three hits each in the loss.
Liberty 4, Midland Trail 2
Ansted – Liberty snapped a 2-2 tie in the sixth inning to secure a 4-2 win over Midland Trail in Ansted Thursday.
Katie Mullens drove in a pair of runs for the Raiders while Maddie Hill collected a pair of hits.
Nevaeh Hall led Trail with three hits while Presley Walker notched two.
George Washington 14, Greenbrier East 13
Fairlea – Greenbrier East’s rally came up short Thursday as the Spartans fell 14-13 at home against George Washington in Fairlea.
Haylee Heaster led East with a pair of doubles, five RBI and three hits. Ally Martin and Kennah Collins notched two hits each as well in the loss.
