Welch – Mount View crushed the ball from the opening inning, scoring the first eight runs in an 11-3 win over Van.
Phoebe Dudgeon led the Golden Knights with 13 strikeouts and a pair of triples. She also drove in three runs.
Shiann Carter also notched two hits and drove in a trio of runs.

Buffalo – Nicholas County held off Buffalo Monday, securing a 6-5 win over the Bison at Buffalo.
Myah Scott led the Grizzlies with three hits and two RBI while Makenzie Hanshaw added a pair of hits.
Abby Hilleary picks dup the win in the circle, allowing just two earned runs.
George Washington 10, Wyoming East 3
New Richmond – George Washington exploded early, securing a 10-3 win over Wyoming East Monday in New Richmond.
Mak Hatfield led East with a pair of hits while Olivia Vint drove in a pair of runs.
PikeView 4, Princeton 2
Princeton – PikeView managed seven hits and held Princeton to two in a 4-2 win over the Tigers Monday in Princeton.
Emma Compton’s two-run home run in the third inning proved to be the difference for the Panthers. She led PikeView with two hits, backing a 14-strikeout effort from pitcher Shelby Maddox.
Zoey Agnew and Abby Farley had the only two hits for Princeton.
Shady Spring 4, Beckley 2
Shady Spring – Peyton Raban played hero Monday, hitting a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth inning as Shady Spring secured a 4-2 win over Beckley in Shady Spring.
Raban backed a standout effort from starter Raegan Lane who pitched a complete game, fanning 15 and allowing just one earned run. Jenna Joyce and Alexa Quesenberry drove in a run each.
Aubrey Smallwood and Rose Tucker led the Flying Eagled with two hits each while Smallwood fanned 18 batters despite the loss.
Greenbrier West 21, Webster County 0
Crawley – Greenbrier West’s offense bombarded Webster County Monday to secure a 21-0 win over the Highlanders in Crawley.
Brilee Redden, Preslee Treadway, Maddie Fields and Brooklyn Adkins all homered in the win with Redden driving in six runs to pace the Cavs.
Adkins followed with four RBI while Treadway drove in three.
Redden earned the win with four strikeouts in two innings of work.
Greenbrier East 12, Oak Hill 4
Oak Hill – Greenbrier East’s offense was relentless Monday, securing a 12-4 win in Oak Hill.
Maddie Baker and Haylee Heaster led the Spartans with two hits each with Heaster homering in the win. Kennah Collins added a pair of RBI.
Sadie Branch doubled and drove in a run to pace Oak Hill.
Gilmer County 8, Midland Trail 6
Gilmer County 7, Midland Trail 0
Glenville – Midland Trail struggled Monday, drooping a doubleheader to Gilmer County by scores of 8-6 and 7-0.
In the 8-6 loss errors were troublesome for the Patriots who committed four which led to two unearned runs. Nevaeh Hall and Kyndal Parsons led the charge two hits each while Raelyn Morris drove in a pair of runs.
In the 7-0 loss nothing went right for the Patriots who issued seven walks and only managed three hits, two courtesy of Hall.
