Welch – Mount View swept Twin Valley, Va. Saturday, winning by scores of 17-2 and 18-3 in Welch.
The Golden Knights’ offensive assault came via a steady stream of hits as they finished with 17 total on the day.
Phoebe Dudgeon led the way with seven total RBI on the day, blasting a home run and striking out four in an inning of work.

Fairlea – Greenbrier East exploded in the fourth inning, posting seven runs in a 14-6 win over Oak Hill Saturday in Fairlea.
Ally Martin and Liz Wooding led the charge for the Spartans with three hits and three RBI each in the victory while Kenny Collins, Jenna Groves and Cambell Bundy were good for two hits each.
Mary Butcher drove in a pair of runs to pace the Red Devils in the loss.
