Beckley – Montcalm scored seven runs across the third and fourth innings Monday to secure an 11-6 win over Greater Beckley in Beckley.
Leah Adkins led Greater Beckley in the loss with two hits, including a home run, and three RBI.
Peyton White drove in three runs for Montcalm while Lilly Parks added a pair of hits and two RBI.
Montcalm will travel to Mount View Tuesday while Greater Beckley will host River View in an elimination game.

Welch – Mount View exploded on rival River View Monday night, toppling the Raiders 21-3 in the opening round of sectionals in Welch.
The Golden Knights took advantage of five River View errors and 10 free passes to supplement nine hits.
Four different Golden Knights drove in multiple runs with Shiann Carter leading the way by scoring four runs.
Malayah Barnes tripled in the win and drove in a pair while Phoebe dudgeon fanned nine to secure the win.
