Greenbrier East 29, James Monroe 14
Fairlea – Kaden Stone intercepted two passes, returning one for a touchdown while adding a receiving touchdown in Greenbrier East’s 29-14 victory over James Monroe Friday night in Fairlea.
Stone led a defensive effort that saw the Spartans pick four passes in total.
East QB Brody Hamric led the passing attack with 191 yards and three touchdown passes on 29 attempts, connecting with Stone once Nate Suttle twice for scores.
Brock Parker led James Monroe with 89 yards rushing and a touchdown in the loss.
East will travel to Nitro to close the regular season while James Monroe will host Tug Valley.
