New Richmond – PikeView carried its hot start into he secnd half of the season Friday, collecting a 34-27 at Wyoming East.
Braydon Mullins rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns while Peyton Mounts returned a kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown and caught a pat of passes for 49 yards and another score.
Defensively Owen Underwood collected two sacks while Henry Cox picked off a pass.
The 5-1 start is the best the program has had since its inaugural season in 1994 when it started 7-1.
The Panthers will aim to push it to 6-1 Wednesday when they travel to Bluefield.
