Greenbrier East 41, Nicholas County 14
Summersville – A.J. Godfrey set a school record with five rushing touchdowns as Greenbrier East rolled to a 41-14 win over Nicholas County in Summersville Friday night.
Godfrey finished with 124 yards on 22 carries, scoring all of his touchdowns on runs of six yards or less.
East quarterback Brody Hamric was efficient with 177 yards on 13 of 24 passing, connecting with Grant Burdette four times for 75 yards.
Devin Nash led Nicholas with 69 yards rushing and a touchdown while Coleton Hellems completed seven passes for 121 yards with two interceptions.
