Spencer – Midland Trail’s offense fired on all cylinders Friday as the Patriots rolled to a 41-13 win over Clay County at Roane County High School.
Jamison Swafford led the Patriots with six catches for 107 yards and a touchdown while also grabbing an interception on defense.
Aiden Weis led the ground attack, rushing nine times for 141 yards and two scores.
On defense Zander Ooten picked up three-and-a-half sacks while Weis added one.
Trail (1-0) will host Poca next week.
