Naugatuck – Talan Muscari’s free throw with 2.1 seconds left proved to be the most important of his game-high 23 points Wednesday as Class AA No. 2 Wyoming East edged Class A No. 1 Tug Valley 63-62 in Naugatuck.
Flanking Muscari în double figures were Keegan Davidson with 13 points and Konnor Fox with 10 points.
Braydun Ferris and Carson Newsome led Tug Valley with 18 points each in the loss.

Charmco – Greenbrier West outscored Montcalm 13-3 in the second quarter, using that advantage to secure a 55-47 win over the Generals in Charmco Wednesday.
Colton Dunbar was one of three Cavaliers in double figures with 14 points, followed by Kamden Sams and Isaac Crane with 10 each.
Korbin Nunn led Montcalm with 18 points in the loss.
