Bridgeport 68, James Monroe 65
White Sulphur Springs – Gavin Williams nailed the game-winning 3-pointer from the left corner with under three seconds to play Saturday as Bridgeport rallied to topple James Monroe 68-65 in the Battle for the Springhouse.
Aryon Dodd led the Indians with 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting, netting six 3-pointers while Anderson McDougal netted 15 points. Williams pitched in 14.
Ryan Mann led the Mavericks with 19 points while Kadyn Hines netted 17. Jayden Miller was good for 12.
Wyoming East 65, Greenbrier East 54
White Sulphur Springs – Wyoming East guard Talan Muscari and Keegan Davidson combined for 38 points as the Warriors knocked off Class AAA Greenbrier East 65-54 in the Battle for the Springhouse consolation game at The Greenbrier.
Muscari led the way with 20 points while Davidson dropped in 18. Broc Johnson netted 13.
Brody Hamric led Greenbrier East with 18 points in the loss while Darius Burns scored 15.
