Greenbrier East 67, Nicholas County 42
Beckley – Greenbrier East smothered Nicholas County Tuesday, rolling to a 67-42 victory over the Grizzlies in the New River CTC Invitational at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center.
East shot 53 percent from the field (30-for-56) in the win including 26-for-36 from inside the arc. Nicholas was held to 34 percent shooting (16 for 46) from the field.
Nate Dixon led the way for East with 18 points and 10 rebounds while Brody Hamric netted 14 points. Braylen Godfrey added 10.
Brady Lilly led Nicholas County with 11 points in the loss.
