Lindside – James Monroe jumped on Summit Christian early, securing a 12-1 win in Lindside on a night where the Mavericks honored the 1990 state champion Peterstown team.
Brycen Parker led the way with three hits and three RBI while Cameron Crislip homered and drove in. a pair of runs.
Tanner Johnson earned the win, scattering three hits in five innings of work.
Wyoming East 13, Bluefield 1
New Richmond – Wyoming East used a hit barrage Monday to secure a 13-1 win over Bluefield in New Richmond.
Dylan Golden led the onslaught with two hits while Zach Hunt drove in a pair of runs while Jaeden Lester collected three RBI.
Four different pitches combined to hold Bluefield to two hits led by Hunt who fanned five and picked up the win.
Shady Spring 10, PikeView 0
Shady Spring – Sam Barnett dazzled on the mound Monday, holding PikeView to two hits as Shady Spring rolled its regional foes 10-0 in Shady Spring.
Noah Fox backed the effort at the plate with two hits and two RBI while Aiden Brown drove in a pair of runs as well. Jacob Claypool added two hits.
Landon Wyatt and Christian Walters had the only two hits of the night for PikeView.
Greater Beckley 16, Montcalm 1
Beckley – Four different Crusader had multiple hits Monday as Greater Beckley secured a 16-1 win over Montcalm.
Isaiah Lewis, Paul Fox and Kaden Bolen notched three knocks each with Bolen driving in three runs.
Eli Gunter and Fox drover in a pair of runs each. Jayden Nguyen rounded out the attack with three RBI.
