
Greenbrier East 10, James Monroe 6
Fairlea – Greenbrier East took advantage of five James Monroe errors Monday night, claiming a 10-6 win over the Mavericks in Fairlea.
A six-run fourth inning propelled the Spartans who trailed 5-4 at that point.
Cameron Crislip led James Monroe with a pair of hits and RBI, tripling in the loss.
Ashton Cochran paced East with a pair of doubles and two RBI while Graham Brewster added a pair of RBI as well.
Beckley 13, Shady Spring 6
Beckley – Beckley yielded it’s 5-0 lead but ultimately exploded late, pushing across seven runs in the sixth inning of a 13-6 win over Shady Spring in Beckley.
Tyler Wilhite led Beckley with three hits, including a home run and two doubles, driving in five runs on the night.
Maddex Sims, Gage Price and Drew Gallaher drove in a pair of runs each for Beckley.
Shady was paced by Cutter Boggs who went 4-for-4 to extend his hit-streak to 18 games. Kayden Quesenberry led Shady with two RBI.
Westside 5, Liberty 1
Clear Fork – Alex Brunty worked out of numerous jams Monday as Westside secured a 5-1 win over Liberty in Glen Daniel.
Brunty yielded 10 hits but stranded 11 Raiders on base, finishing just one out away from tossing a complete game.
Kadien Vance led Westside at the plate with a hit and two RBI.
Parker Hodges led Liberty with another three-hit effort on the loss.
