Beckley – The Beckley Post 32 Top Prospects swept Charleston Post 65 Thursday night, securing wins of 9-4 and 13-2 at Lind aK. Epling Stadium.
In the first game, a 9-4 win, Beckley kept the pressure on with runs in every inning, paced by Greenbrier East product Nelson Lynch who went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Miken Smyth (Wyoming East) and Clay Patton drove in two runs each while Drew Gallaher earned the win.
Sam Barnett pitched a pair of scoreless innings as well.
In the second game Chance Moore pitched all five innings, scattering three hits.
His effort was backed again by Lynch who added two more hits in the second matchup while Brycen Parker added two hits and two RBI as well.
