While there we spoke with Bluefield starting quarterback Max Simpson.
Simpson talked about his growing pains as a freshman quarterback, how offensive coordinator Fritz Simon has helped him, how he’s grown as a player this offseason, what he learned from a full season as a starter, breakout teammates and expectations for his sophomore season.
