Oak Hill claimed the Fayette County girls basketball middle school championship Saturday, downing Fayetteville 44-23.
Makynlee Lewis led Oak Hill with 17 points while Lilly Hrabosky netted 15 for Fayetteville.
Avery Legg added 12 and Brynlee Greer 10 for Oak Hill in the win.
Aubrey Conley, Makynlee Lewis and Avery Legg earned all-county honors.

Baylee Alderman scored 16 points to lead Independence to a 35-26 win over Beckley Stratton in the Raleigh County Middle School Tournament Saturday at Independence.
Nevaeh Mitchell scored 14 for Beckley Stratton in the loss.
Indy will face Shady Spring on Tuesday at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center at 7 p.m. Beckley Stratton will face Park on Tuesday in the consolation game at 4 p.m.

The win sends Shady to the county title game where it will face Independence on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center. Park will face Beckley Stratton in the same venue at 4 p.m. in the consolation game.

Iziah Gordon scored the 1,000th points of his middle school career as Indy earned a berth in the county title game with a 67-20 victory over Park.
Gordon led all scorers with 33 points while KJ Viars netted 10.
Zayden Hill-Johnson led Park with 10 points.
Indy will face Shady in the title game at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center on 8:30 on Tuesday while Park will play Trap Hill in the consolation game at 5:30.
