
Charleston – Spring Valley dominated from the start, jumping out to a 27-7 lead after a quarter en route to an 88-36 win over Spring Mills in the Class AAAA state quarterfinals in the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
Sophi Hutchison led the charge with 22 points for the Timberwolves while Ella Giles netted 15. Brooklyn Ellis and Allie Daniels were good for 14 points each.
Kilah Dandridge and Bri King led the Cardinals with 12 points each in the loss.
Spring Valley will face the winner of University-St. Albans on Friday at 11:15 a.m.
