Gilmer County 67, Webster County 19
Charleston – Defending state champion Gilmer County dominated from the opening tip Tuesday, toppling No. 8 Webster County 67-19 in a Class A quarterfinal in the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
Gilmer returns to the state semis where it will face No. 5 Ritchie County on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
Lena Frymier led the way with 18 points for the Titans while Kenley Hartshorn netted 13.
Maddie Willians led Webster with 12 points in the loss.
