Shady Spring 9, Greenbrier East 1
Shady Spring – Shady Spring jumped on Greenbrier East early, scoring four runs across the first two innings to secure a 9-1 win over the Spartans in Shady Spring.
East will face the winner of PikeView-Princeton on Friday while shady will face Independence in Coal City on Friday.
Annabelle Strugill led the charge for Shady with two hits and three RBI while Raegan Lane homered in the victory. Jenna Joyce notched a pair of knocks and RBI as well, picking up the win in the circle.
Haley Byars homered for East in the loss.
