Shady Spring – Shady distanced itself in the second half, securing a 75-58 win over Sissonville to open its title defense Friday in Shady.
The win sets up a showdown with Herbert Hoover on Thursday in Shady.
Khi Olson led the Tigers with 20 points while Jalon Bailey netted 18. Jack Williams (16) and Eli Sexton (15) also reached double figures.
Max Moore led Sissonville with 17 points.
