Thanks to our friends at Lewis Nissan and the New River Career and Technical College, the Player of the Week poll is back!
Each week we’ll select one player from the area teams that win a game. Coaches are welcome to nominate a player. Nominations must be in by 2 p.m. each Saturday.
The winner will be chosen by Play Sheet Sports and a guest picker. If the two don’t agree, the poll will be used as a tiebreaker.
The player with the most votes each week will advance to our Community Choice Poll. At the end of the year, all 11 Community Choice winners will be entered into a poll where the community can pick their Player of the Year from those 11 players. The winner will receive a trophy commemorating their success and the support their community gave them.
The poll will close Wednesday at 3 p.m.
