
Charleston – East Hardy used a dominant second quarter to topple Clay-Battelle 51-34 and earn a berth in the Class A semifinals Thursday morning at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
East Hardy outscored Clay-Battelle 17-5 in the third quarter, fending off the CeeBees the rest of the way.
Evan Hamilton led the Cougars with 20 points while Jordan Teets netted 14.
Preston Luzader scored 11 to lead Clay-Battelle.
