- Degan Williams, Independence – Williams hit the walk-off double that gave Independence a 5-4 win Thursday.
- Cole Cunningham, Independence – Cunningham homered in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game in an eventual win, finishing 3-for-3 at the plate.
- Landon Wyatt, Pikeview – Wyatt collected two hits and an RBI Thursday.
- Sam Barnett, Shady Spring – Barnett drove in the tying run and scored the winning run in a 3-for-4 performance at the plate Thursday.
- Cutter Boggs, Shady Spring – Boggs went 2-for-4 with a walk and made a great catch in center field Thursday.
- Landon Crane, Princeton – Crane notched two hits and drove in three runs.
- Peyton Gardinier, James Monroe – Gardinier went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI Thursday.
- Baylee Ridgeway, James Monroe – Ridgeway drove in a trio of runs on two hits Thursday.
- Kadyn Hines, James Monroe – Hines drove in two runs and fanned 10 on the mound in a win.
- Kadien Vance, Westside – Vance had three hits and drove in two runs as Westside staved off elimination.
- Colten Jones, Summers County – Jones threw a complete-game shutout, fanning 10 while also homering and driving in two runs to help his own cause.
Softball
- Ava Parks, Independence – Parks hit the go-ahead RBI double that gave Independence a 4-3 lead and win in the sectional title game.
- Emma Lilly, Independence – Lilly forced an error stealing third that led to her scoring, made a snag on a quick sinking liner and drove in a run in Indy’s sectional win.
- Peyton Raban, Shady Spring – Raban homered and threw out a runner for Shady.
Track
- Gabe Kidd, Beckley – Kidd hit a new PR, running a 10.65 100-meter dash, the fastest time by any runner in Class AAA this year.
- MJ Staples, Beckley – Staples won the 110 meter hurdles (PR), finished second in the 300-meter hurdles and was part of the 4×110 meter shuttle hurdle team that took first in the Class AAA Region 3 meet Thursday.
- Kingston Clark, Beckley – Clark hit a new PR with a jump of 6-foot-4 to win the Region 3 title.
- Annie Whited, Greenbrier East – Whited PR’d in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, winning both along with the 400 at the Region 3 meet. She was also part of the 4×200 relay team that took first.
- Neena McClintic, Greenbrier East – McClintic swept the 800-, 1600- and 3200-meter runs Thursday. She was also part of the 4×400 relay team that took first.
- Cadence Reid, Beckley – Reid PR’d in shot put, taking the top spot in the meet with a throw of 36-8.
