Summersville – Nicholas County pounded the ball again, collecting 14 hits en route to a 12-4 win over Clay County Wednesday in Summersville.
Ira Mylott went 4-for-4 with two RBI, homering to lead the charge while Caleb Burns added a 3-for-5 night.
Colton Burkhammer doubled twice and drove in a pair of runs to round out the effort.

Gardner – Eli Hilling was masterful on the mound Wednesday, fanning 12 in a 7-0 win over James Monroe Wednesday in Gardner.
Trenton Tolliver backed the effort with three hits while Landon Bolen added two with an RBI. Eli Naylor led the charge with a pair of RBI.
James Monroe managed just three hits in the loss.
Shady Spring 14, Summers County 4
Shady Spring – Shady Spring started fast, scoring six runs in the opening frame of a 14-4 win over Summers County Wednesday in Shady Spring.
Aiden Brown led the Tigers with three hits and four RBI while Brody Seabolt added a pair of hits and three RBI.
Colten Jones drove in three runs for Summers while Ryan Oliveros had two hits in the loss.
Midland Trail 9, Greenbrier West 7
Charmco – Midland Trail held off a late comeback bid from Greenbrier West to secure a 9-7 win over the Cavaliers in Charmco Wednesday.
Greg Cramer, Nick Workman, Jamison Swafford and Levi Shrewsberry led Trail with two hits each.
Cramer and Workman driving home a trio of runs each.
Scott McClung and Landen Doss had two hits each for West in the loss.
Richwood 6, Calhoun County 4
Mt. Zion – Richwood held off Calhoun County Wednesday to secure a 6-4 win in Mt. Zion.
Kaden Lane led the Lumberjacks with three hits and two RBI while Cameron Jenkins added a pair of base knocks.
Owen Wayne chipped in two hits as well while Parker Giles secured the victory.
