Ansted – Midland Trail jumped Sherman early, securing a 5-1 victory over the Tide Tuesday in Ansted.
Maddie Rader led the charge all around, notching a pair of hits and driving in three runs while Jesse Skaggs added a pair of hits and RBI.
Rader competed in the circle as well with 10 strikeouts in five innings of work.
Greenbrier East 7, Shady Spring 6
Shady Spring – Greenbrier East rallied from a 6-4 deficit to capture a 7-6 win at Shady Spring Tuesday.
Reagan Cline led East with a hit and a trio of RBI while Ally Martin collected two hits behind her. Liz Wooding added an RBI as well.
Jenna Joyce homered for Shady while Brooklyn Blankenship went 4-for-4 with a pair of RBI.
Oak Hill 17, Richwood 2
Oak Hill – Oak Hill’s bats were hot again, pounding out 13 hits in a 17-2 win over Richwood Tuesday in Oak Hill.
Kennedy King, K.K. Smith, Sadie Branch, Mary Butcher and Kaidence Donnelly each secured two hits each with Amy Hollandsworth and Smith driving in a trio of runs each.
Branch finished with a home run for the second straight game while Mary Butcher earned the win in the circle.
Independence 8, Beckley 0
Coal City – Independence set the tone early, scoring six runs across the first two innings in an 8-0 win over Independence Tuesday in Coal City.
Ava Parks, Bella Lilly and Paytin Brehm led Indy with two hits each with Parks and Lilly driving in three runs each. Both of Parks’ hits were doubles.
Beckley managed just three hits in the loss.
Liberty 17, Nicholas County 1
Summersville – Liberty erupted Tuesday, securing a 17 runs in a 17-1 win over Nicholas County in Summersville.
Allie Bowles and Maddie Cox led the assault with three hits each while Maddie Toler and Stella Brown drove in a trio of runs each.
Abby Hilleary drove in Nicholas County’s lone run.
Greater Beckley 7, Mount View 6
Welch – Leah Adkins led the charge Tuesday night as Greater Beckley rallied to secure a 7-6 win at Mount View.
Adkins doubled home the tying run in the top of the seventh, scoring the winning late in the frame.
Adkins finished with three hits to pace the Crusaders, driving in two runs on the night. She also picked up the win in the circle with 12 strikeouts.
Kayleigh Rose led Mount View with three hits including a pair of triples in the loss.
