Mount View 11, Montcalm 9
Montcalm – Mount View remained hot Monday, securing a sweep of Montcalm with wins of 17-0 and 11-9 Monday at Montcalm.
Phoebe Dudgeon led the way in the 17-0 win, nothing three hits and fanning nine in four innings of work.
Shianne Belcher drove in three runs.
In the 11-9 win Kayleigh Rose collected three hits with two RBI as the Golden Knights drove in three runs in the top of the fifth to complete a six-run comeback.
PikeView 6, Greenbrier East 2
Fairlea – Shelby Maddox fanned 12 and scattered six hits as PikeView stunned Greenbrier East 6-2 in Fairlea Monday.
Lauren Lambert backed the effort at the plate with two hits and two RBI while Maddox drove in a run to help her own cause.
Reagan Cline led East with two hits at the plate in the loss.
Greenbrier West 2, Beckley 0
Beckley – Brilee Redden pitched a gem Monday, holding Beckley to three hits and overcoming two errors by her defense in a 2-0 win over the Flying Eagles in Beckley.
Redden helped her own cause with two of West’s three hits, both doubles, including one that drove in a run. Preslee Treadway added an RBI as well.
Beckley was led by Aubrey Smallwood who fanned 16 despite the loss.
Oak Hill 21, Summers County 1
Hinton – Oak Hill scored 14 runs before the end of the first inning, securing a 21-1 win over Summers County Monday.
Sadie Branch homered in the win, driving in a trio of runs. K.K. Smith, Meeka Miller and Kinzlee Dove also drove in multiple runs for the Red Devils in the victory.
