Gardner – Shady Spring swept a doubleheader at PikeView Friday, toppling the Panthers 6-0 and 9-1.
Jenna Joyce led the 6-0 win, pitching the complete-game shutout, fanning 10 along the way. She also drove in a pair of runs while Kenidi Creager added an RBI.
In the 9-1 win Raegan Lane notched the victory in the circle while Peyton Raban backed her with three hits. Ladonna Osborne drove in a pair of runs and secured a pair of hits.
Liberty 17, Margaretta, Oh. 2
Glen Daniel – Liberty rolled out to a 12-0 lead, securing a 17-2 win over Margaretta, Oh. Friday in Glen Daniel.
Emma Hartshorn collected two hits for there Raiders and drove in a trio of runs while Katie Mullens collected four RBI.
Maddie Hill earned the win in the circle.
Midland Trail 5, James Monroe 2; Midland Trail 11, James Monroe 5
Lindside – Midland Trail swept a pair of key regional games Friday, toppling James Monroe 5-2 and 11-5 in Lindside.
Maddie Rader led Trail at the plate, collecting five total hits and allowing just one earned run over 12 total innings in the circle. Nevaeh Hall helped back the effort with four total hits and three RBI. Abby Parcell aided the cause with a 3-for-4 showing in the 11-5 victory.
Peighton Griffith led James Monroe with four hits and two RBI across the two contests.
