Mount View 17, River View 6
Welch – Mount View swept a doubleheader against county rival River View Wednesday winning 17-6 and 13-6 in Welch.
In the 13-6 win Shiann Carter drove in two runs for Mount View while the Raiders were held to just one hit.
In the 17-6 win Phoebe Dudgeon fanned 11 Raiders and notched a pair of hits. Carter added three hits and three RBI in that win while Kaylee Cook, Shianne Belcher, Kayleigh Rose, Dudgeon and Malayah Barnes drove in multiple runs each.
Greenbrier West 13, Webster County 1
Upper Glade – Greenbrier West exploded for seven runs in the sixth inning to mercy rule Webster County 13-1 Wednesday in Upper Glade.
Brooklyn Adkins led West with two hits, including a home run, and six RBI. Ava Price, Kenna Fields and Brilee Redden notched two hits each.
Redden picked up the win with six no-hit innings, fanning 13.
Beckley 8, Margaretta, Oh. 0
Aubrey Smallwood was in top form Wednesday, pitching four no-hit innings in an 8-0 win over Margaretta, Oh. in Beckley.
Smallwood fanned 12 batters, issuing one walk.
Hadley Reott led the way at the plate with a pair of hits while Marley Stoneback drove in two runs.
Greenbrier East 13, Maple Grove 5
Myrtle Beach – East’s offense remained hot at the beach Wednesday as the Lady Spartans secured a 13-5 win over Maple Grove at Myrtle Beach.
Reagan Cline notched three hits to lead the way while Kennah Collins homered and drove in a pair of runs.
Campbell Bundy, Jenna Groves and Maddie Baker notched two hits each in the win.
