Shady Spring 9, Summers County 3
Hinton – Shady Spring led an offensive assault Tuesday as the Tigers marched into Hinton and collected a 9-3 win over Summers County.
Aiden Calvert led the charge, striking out 10 on the mound and collected three hits in the win.
Jacob Claypool and Jalon Bailey added a pair of hist each in the win.
Robey Brown led Summers with two RBI in the loss.
Greater Beckley 5, Mount View 0
Welch – Greater Beckley received an excellent outing from starter Jayden Nguyen in a 5-0 win over Mount View in Welch Tuesday.
Nguyen pitched a complete game, fanning 11 in the win.
Eli Gunter and Isaiah Lewis secured an RBI each to lead the charge at the plate while Nguyen notched two hits to lead the Crusaders.
Wyoming East 4, Midland Trail 2; Wyoming East 11, Midland Trail 1
New Richmond – Wyoming East took a doubleheader Tuesday, toppling Midland Trail 4-2 and 11-1 Tuesday in New Richmond.
Jaeden Lester led the charge in the 4-2 win, fanning 13 and allowing one earned run in 6.2 innings of work.Lester and Miken Smyth drove in a run each in that win. Xaylen Johns went the distance in the loss, allowing just three earned runs.
In the 11-1 win Lester, Smyth and Dylan Golden all drove in two runs each while Zach Hunt led all batters with three hits.
Jamison Swafford led Trail with two hits in that loss.
