Buffalo 7, Midland Trail 3
Ansted – Errors proved key to Midland Trail’s downfall Tuesday as the Patriots lost their first game played in 10 days by a score of 7-3 against Buffalo at Ansted.
Of the seven runs yielded by Trail, only two of them were earned with the Patriots committing five total errors.
Nevaeh Hall led Trail at the plate with a pair of hits, adding an RBI. Jessi Mooney added an RBI as did Raelyn Morris.
Princeton 13, Montcalm 2
Montcalm – Abby Farley led the charge with a home run and three RBI as Princeton secured a 13-2 win over Montcalm Tuesday at Montcalm.
The Tigers were hot at the plate, notching 16 total hits.
Hayden Jones added to the assault with three hits and RBI as well, notching a triple. In the circle she struck out 13 batters in five innings of work.
Independence 14, Liberty 1
Glen Daniel – Independence dominated the first four innings Tuesday, securing a 14-1 victory over Liberty Tuesday night in Glen Daniel.
The Patriots pounded out 14 hits in the victory, led by Emma Lilly who accounted for three. Bella Lilly added two and drove in a team-high three runs in the win.
Kenzie Pierce led the charge in the circle, allowing just one run over five innings.
Wyoming East 11, Mount View 3
New Richmond – Wyoming East took advantage of eight Mount View errors Tuesday, securing an 11-3 win over the Golden Knights in New Richmond.
Alivia Monroe led the way with three hits while Carlie Raye collected two with two RBI to match.
Raye earned the win, striking out six in the circle.
