Girls State Tournament: Efficient Morgantown team returns to Class AAAA title game

Charleston – No. 2 Morgantown shot a blistering 59 percent from the field Friday evening, toppling No. 6 George Washington 85-52 in a Class AAAA semifinal game in the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. 

The Mohigans will face No. 1 Spring Valley at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Kayli Kellog led the charge for the Mohigans with 22 points while Brenna Nelson added 19.

Jeriyah Pryor was GW’s top scorer with 28 points on 9-of-16 shooting.
