
Charleston – Macy Neely helped Cameron rally from a fourth quarter deficit as the Dragons outscored Pendleton County 27-13 in the final frame to secure a 53-44 win over the Wildcats in the Class A quarterfinals Thursday evening in the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
The win sends Cameron to the semis where it’ll face No. 1 Gilmer County in a rematch of last year’s Class A title game.
Neely finished with 25 points in the win to pace the Dragons while Macey Bertam netted 17.
Avery Townsend led Pendleton with 22 points in the loss.
