Beckley 56, South Charleston 43
South Charleston – Beckley locked down defensively Tuesday night, holding South Charleston to 16 points in the second half of the two teams’ regional matchup, securing a 56-43 win over the Black Eagles in South Charleston.
The win sends the Flying Eagles back to the state tournament where they’ll be the No. 5 seed, facing No. 4 Spring Valley on Wednesday, March 19 at 9 p.m.
Coby Dillon led the charge for the Flying Eagles, scoring 27 points as the only player to break double figures for the visitors.
Deshad Williams led South Charleston with 14 points in the loss.
