
Charleston – Charleston Catholic rolled through the fourth quarter, outscoring Logan 15-6 to claim a 45-35 win over the Wildcats Tuesday morning in the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
Catholic advances to Class AA semifinals where it will face the winner of No. 2 St. Marys and No. 7 Ricthie County on Thursday at 11:15 a.m.
Catholic, which took eight fewer shots, made the difference up at the 3-point line where it went 6-of-14 while Logan went 0-of-10 from beyond the arc.
Mary Rushworth led the charge for the Irish with 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting while Molley Messer netted 12.
Payton Butcher led Logan with 12 points in the loss.
