Greenbrier East 45, Oak Hill 7
Fairlea – Greenbrier East’s offense exploded as the Spartans scored thrice through the air and thrice on the ground in a 45-7 victory over Oak Hill Friday night in Fairlea.
East QB Brody Hamric had his best game of the season, completing 19 of 24 passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns.
AJ Godfrey was held under 100 yards for the first time in a game but more than made up for it with three touchdowns to go with 97 yards.
Hamric connected with Nate Suttle and Grant Burdette for his three scoring tosses.
Cade Compton led Oak Hill with 142 yards rushing and a touchdown in the loss.
