New Richmond – James Monroe established regional dominance Tuesday night, toppling regional foe Wyoming East 2-0 before falling to Shady Spring in New Richmond.
Against the Lady Warriors the Mavericks won 25-19 and 25-21 before falling 25-23 and 25-18 against the Class AAA No. 1-ranked Tigers.
Wyoming East all-stater Carli Raye added a highlight for the Lady Warriors, notching her 1,000th career kill.
Independence 3, PikeView 0
Gardner – Independence made it a clean sweep over PikeView Tuesday, toppling the Panthers 3-0 in Gardner.
The Patriots won 25-22, 25-13 and 25-20.
Graci Perry led the way for Indy with nine kills while Kyleigh Barnett and Kamryn Wooten botched eight each. Perry added six blocks in the victory.
