Hico – Midland Trail’s strong start to the season continued Friday as the Patriots moved to 3-0 with a 35-0 shutout victory over Braxton County Friday in Hico.
Jayden Roop picked up 158 yards and two touchdowns on the ground while Aiden Weis rushed for 106.
Rayce Dickerson completed 5 of 16 passes for 79 yards and three touchdowns, connecting with Gage Johnson twice and Xaylen Johns once.
The Patriots will put their unbeaten mark on the line next week at Chapmanville.
